Solo Scriptura in an Age of Cancel-Culture – Claybon Lea Jr.

Has the church allowed the itching ears of a cancel-culture to compromise Scriptural authority? Is Scripture still the preacher’s and teacher’s authoritative foundation or is cancel-culture eisegesis eroding the authority of Scripture? This workshop will discuss the issue of Scriptural authority for the 21st-century church. Moreover, it will share “The Principalizing Bridge” methodology as an exegetical tool for connecting different worlds through responsible preaching and teaching, without compromising biblical integrity or contemporary relevance.
