A Black Church Response to the Educational Crisis In America – Debra Williams-Broughton

With God’s grace and the unwavering dedication of Black Americans, institutions were established, scholars were nurtured, and education became a cornerstone of economic prosperity in the black community. However, deceptive systems, programs, and political choices have fragmented us, leaving our communities susceptible to miseducation and economic hardship. Historically, the black church has been pivotal in educating our people. Moving forward, the black church must embrace the legacy of our ancestors and safeguard the “truths” in education and wealth within our communities.
