This class explores how churches can thoughtfully adapt their structure, leadership, and ministries to better fulfill their mission in a changing world. This session presents an experience-based case study drawn from our own church’s journey of realignment. Highlighting both the complexities and the transformative outcomes of intentional organizational change.
We will guide you through a clear, actionable process drawn from our own experience, starting where many strategies fall short: the spiritual health of leaders and staff. You’ll see how first assessing the hearts and minds of our leaders became the foundation for lasting change. Ensuring our realignment was not just structural, but deeply rooted in shared values, calling, and spiritual maturity. We will also unpack the critical decisions that moved us from insight to action: how we refined roles to better match gifting and calling, reconfigured departments for greater effectiveness and collaboration, and intentionally strengthened alignment across teams.
