Description
The call on the 21st century pastor/preacher is to craft sermons that speak truth to the souls of parishioners as well as speak truth to power. The socio-political climate in which we live demands that sermons be written and spoken which address the principalities and the powers. At the same time, the preacher has to minister to daily discipleship needs of the people. One should not be done at the expense of the other. This breakout session will analyze some ways to strike this balance effectively. How can we make sure that sermons are prophetic and priestly? This is the question at the foundation of this session.
